What is Beowulf?

Inspired by the titular heroic legend, BEOWULF was founded by Zoe, an international creative director and visual artist whose technical discipline was forged in New York City, where she earned her BFA in Photography and Video from the School of Visual Arts (SVA), graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Following a tenure spent expanding her avant-garde fashion portfolio across the editorial landscapes of multiple fashion capitals, Zoe has returned to her home roots of Toronto to permanently establish the BEOWULF archive. Through her multi-disciplinary house, XXIXIN, she has spent years framing subjects with high-contrast shadow work, structural geometry, and dramatic, museum-quality lighting grids.

BEOWULF is the intentional intersection of those global worlds.

Driven by a background rooted in fine art, elite fashion, Zoe treats every companion not merely as a family pet, but as an elegant, poised muse. By stripping away standard, oversaturated commercial tropes, she captures the quiet dignity, untamed character, and undeniable presence of our "little beasts"—creating striking, fine-art family heirlooms tailored exclusively for design-conscious spaces.

Zoe has two cats, two dogs, a turtle and a dream of opening an animal sanctuary.
